"If you are looking for a place to get away for a few days from the general stress of life this is where you must go. It doesn't matter if you stay right at the beach or a little further away it will be at the most a 10 min walk to the beach. During late Sep to Nov the bay is filled with whales and dolphins. There is a tidal pool a short walk away which is a lovely place to have a picnic. The serenity of the area and the sound of the rolling waves lulls you into a feeling of peace. Absolute bliss."

"Knysna is die ideale plek vir 'n romantiese wegbreek - die Waterfront is effens leeggeloop maar Thesen Island is pragtig en mens kan veilig tussen die winkeltjies ronddrentel. Daar is heelwat restaurante om van te kies en Freshline Fisheries het heerlike seekos (op pad Thesen Island toe) - niks fancy nie maar uitstekende waarde vir geld en heerlik voorberei. Tappas & Oyster in Thesen Island is ook 'n lekker kuierplek - sonder enige tierlantyntjies en fieterjasies. The Bell Pub is ook 'n moet - mens voel of jy in 'n klein Village in Engeland sit. Ille de Pain Bakery - lyk heerlik - ons het die plekkie ongelukkig eers ontdek na middagete maar van buite het dit na die ideale plek gelyk vir lekker etes."
