"Staying in Knysna is a must for a traveller. The ocean, mountains and forests are a must see. The harbour and Leisure Island is the place to dine and shop. Also go on a trip to the Knysna forest, boat cruise and drive around the area to discover all sorts of exciting sights. "

"Knysna might have been my favourite stop along the garden route. There is a fantastic beach walk from Brenton-on-Sea to Buffelsbaai (10 km round trip) and if I had more time I would've done the whole journey. There is also an amazing trail to a secluded beach in Brenton-on-Sea that blew me away. Downtown Knysna is a quaint, simple, and adorable town. We also went on the Ocean Odyssey whale watching tour and that was very well done. I would 100% come back to Knysna and if I lived any closer I'd actually buy a home here. "

"The Information Bureau is most helpful and offered many good suggestions to make the stay good. Knysna has become a very busy town. However, the whole Garden Route offers so many diverse activities, that the business of Knysna becomes almost unnoticeable."
"This is a lovely town with lots do see and do, with wonderful restaurants and accommodation. Make time for a walk in the forest and end of at least one day with fresh oysters."
