123Vyfer on Whale Trail offers comfortable, self-catering accommodation in a spacious, 100-square meter, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment situated around 100 m away from the rocky shoreline of De Kelders, Gansbaai.

The ground-floor apartment is equipped with an inverter and backup battery system to allow full operation when the electric supply is down. The apartment, has a private entrance leading from undercover parking, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with an indoor braai. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. The second full bathroom consists of a shower, bath, basin and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.

The modern kitchen is equipped to be comfortable for longer stays. The full range of quality appliances includes a fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, gas-top stove, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and sufficient cooking utensils.

The lounge area has a 4K Smart TV that streams Netflix, Prime Video, Showmax and Disney - no subscriptions necessary. Please note that there is no satellite TV and no DStv provided.

The apartment has free Wi-Fi access, a built-in safe for valuables, a ceiling fan for each bedroom and an alarm system connected to a monitoring and response company. All windows have burglar bars.

A bicycle stand for 4 bikes as well as a washing line are available in a private backyard. Enough wood for the first braai is provided.

This is a ground-floor apartment with no steps inside, half a step to the front patio area and a maximum of 2 steps outside.

Unfortunately, no children between 0 months to 10 years can be accommodated. No smoking indoors and no pets allowed.

Note that diagonally opposite the apartment a house is being built. Otherwise, the neighbourhood is very quiet and safe.

Exploring the immediate area by walking is a pastime enjoyed by all, whether it is short walks on comfortable pathways along the rocky shore or longer hiking trails. Beautiful caves, hiking & walking trails at Walker Bay Nature Reserve are within walking distance from the apartment. The Nature Reserve provide a light-duty 4x4 trail over the dunes which lends itself to sundowners while watching the sunset on the ocean. Our area is also extremely popular with the mountain biking community.

Between 30 and 45 minutes’ drive from De Kelders The Overberg/Whale Coast region boasts some of the finest golf courses in the southern hemisphere.

123Vyfer is under 2 hours drive from Cape Town International Airport, 30 min from Hermanus, 15 min from Stanford, 5km from Gansbaai & within walking distance from Die Plaat/Walker Bay Nature Reserve with its uninterrupted 22km white sandy beach, stunning rock pools and sand dunes.
