Great stay and location.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay with no disruptions besides loadshedding. We enjoyed the entire place and the marina to the fullest and appreciate the host for being accommodating. What we liked: Location, Location, Location - great location and view of the Marina on the south side. Braai facilities. Secured and additional parking. Cleanliness. Had decent pots and pans. All necessary appliances. Great entertainment space. What we didn’t like: Kids under the age of 4 are counted as adults. Chipped cups, glasses and plates. Little space for rubbish. Some of the blinds were not functioning as designed. Recommendations: The bedroom with the shower has a lock on the cupboard, reducing the cupboard space for longer stays. The fridge needs attention – the freezer part works fine however, the bottom fridge did not keep things cold. The upstairs living room could become another room, which may allow for an additional 2 people. The braai room table needs the bolts to be tightened, as it is not too stable. Advise people staying where to rent/hire boats or paddlers etc.

Quiet, calm and beautiful.

23 Jamaican Palms is a very beautiful place to start off with. We were 3 couples and the place has got 3 beautiful bedrooms that was to our liking. The view is spectacular and couldn't stop taking pictures from the balcony/braai area. We had a lovely night on Saturday with wonderful weather, it was perfect sitting in front of the fire, sipping on cocktails with the lights shining over the lagoon right in front of us. I don't have any negative comments on the place but the host Sylvia can be more friendlier. Luckily she's only there when you check in and out again. I would definitely go back!
