360on62 Mountain View Farm Cottages offers self-catering farm cottage accommodation with 360-degree mountain views on a working farm. The farm is situated just 7 km outside the charming village of Montagu, in the Little Karoo on the R62. A 193 km drive from Cape Town brings one through the stone portals of Cogmanskloof to the Little Karoo and the charming village of Montagu. This historic village lies in a fertile valley enclosed by the Swartberg and Langeberg mountain ranges.

The restoration process of the cottages was executed with great sensitivity and attention to detail in order to maintain an authentic flavour. They are simplistic but well-equipped with linen, crockery and cutlery, as well as a gas cooker and microwave for indoor cooking. Each cottage has its own braai facility on its patio. The cottages do not have TVs to distract you from the sounds of birdsong, or the call of jackals and foxes. Spotted eagle owls and Cape eagle owls are handsome predators and are often seen and heard at the cottages.

A communal braai facility at the swimming pool enables a large group to braai together in the lapa. The pool overlooks the majestic Langeberg Mountains and is a great setting for a sundowner, or for simply lazing around on a hot day.

Springtime is a vygie flower-lovers delight and a truly lovely time of year to visit the Klein Karoo. Come and relax in the country and enjoy the magnificent display of flowers on your doorstep. The farm affords some productive birding spots and a birding list of 75 species including the African fish eagle, the vulnerable blue crane and different species of waterfowl on the dam.
