Description

5 Shipment Close is a self-catering beach house with a beautiful sea view situated on Golden Mile within walking distance to the beach, rock pools and nearby fishing spots.

There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Two bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and a basin. The third bathroom is en suite to the main bedroom and has a bath, shower, basin and toilet. The house can sleep 8 people. Please note that there are stairs and the kitchen and living room are upstairs. Younger children are allowed in the house, but there are open stairs and young toddlers need to be watched at all times on the balcony.

Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher. There is a braai on the balcony, guests are required to provide their own firewood. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available. Linen and bath towels are provided but guests need to bring their own beach towels. This is not a pet-friendly establishment as the owner is very allergic and smoking is strictly prohibited inside the unit.

Loadshedding: Each room has a bedside lamp powered with batteries. There is a UPS that keeps the Wi-Fi running for 2 hours. There are two fans that can work for two hours when the power is off. Furthermore, there are rechargeable lamps in the living room.
