Description

6 Pack is a gorgeous self-catering independent unit, located on the owner's property, in the seaside village of Struisbaai on the south coast of the Western Cape. It has its own private entrance with a high latch on the gate which prevents small children from wandering off. It is ideal for a family or group of friends looking for a peaceful getaway in the southernmost town of Africa.

The main house unit contains 2 bedrooms, Grace and Meermin. Grace, the main bedroom has a queen-sized bed with an air-conditioner, and an en-suite bathroom. Meermin, the second bedroom is a large bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, a ceiling fan, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Towels are supplied.

There is an open-plan kitchen, breakfast nook, and a lounge area. The kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering and includes a microwave, a 4-plate stove with an oven, a fridge-freezer and a drinks fridge, kettle, toaster, snackwicher, braai equipment including braai grid, braai casserole, braai tongs, and kitchen utensils. The breakfast nook seats 6 and the lounge area has a 3- and 2-seater couch with a reclining chair. The lounge area is also equipped with a TV with full DStv and a DVD player. Limited Wi-Fi is also available.

The beautiful garden has shady areas to sit outside and enjoy the birds. It also has 2 braai areas that can be used depending on the way the wind is blowing. There is also a Webber for guest usage. The outside area has tables, chairs, and umbrellas.

The 2 separate rooms in the main residence, with their own entrances, are also available to be booked in conjunction with the free-standing unit for larger groups and families or separately. Gentoo has a queen-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom. Towels are supplied. Nostra has a king-sized bed and a single bed as well as an en-suite bathroom. Towels are supplied. Tea- and coffee-making facilities included and a bed and breakfast option is also available at an additional cost. Both the independent unit and the 2 rooms, Gentoo and Nostra, walk out to the beautiful garden.

The Nostra and Gentoo have access to a games room equipped with a TV with DStv, a pool table, foosball and games in the main residence and if the self-independent unit is booked in conjunction with these rooms, the games room is also available.

6 Pack is 400 m from the picturesque Struisbaai harbour and within easy reach of shops, restaurants and the main beach. The harbour, where the colourful fishermen’s boats are moored, leads onto the boardwalk which serves as a spectacular walk to the Struisbaai main beach.

Struisbaai is 8 km from Cape Agulhas, the southernmost town in Africa which boasts the 2nd oldest working lighthouse in South Africa.
