8 Ocean Drive is a lovely self-catering flatlet with a separate entrance located on the owner’s property which is situated on the popular Ocean Drive in the coastal town of Salt Rock, Ballito. This is an ideal option for a small family wanting to explore the beautiful Dolphin Coast as it is also only 100 m from the beach.
This cosy flatlet can accommodate 4 guests at a time and comprises a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom is air-conditioned and furnished with a double bed. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the en-suite bathroom. All linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The open-plan living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cutlery and crockery as well as a breakfast bar with stools. Leading from the kitchen is a lounge with comfortable seating, a single bed with a pull-out mattress as well as a TV Netflix and a full selection of DStv channels. Access to free uncapped Wi-Fi is available.
Outside, guests have full access to a private courtyard with outdoor seating and braai facilities. For those returning from the beach, an outdoor shower is also available for guests to rinse off. Activities in the surrounding area include fishing, diving, surfing and golf. A supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance and the nearest shopping centre is only 5 km away.
