Description
The family-owned AA Badenhorst Family Wines offers an authentic farm hideaway set against the slopes of the Paardeberg Mountain, and the working wine farm is located 20 km from Malmesbury and 88 km from the city of Cape Town.
Unique and charming accommodation is offered in the Winemaker’s Cottage, The Silo and The Stables. The Winemaker’s Cottage can accommodate 4 adults, and comprises 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a self-catering kitchen, and a lounge. An additional bed can also be arranged on request for children. Guests can laze in the hammocks and enjoy the beautiful views across the vineyards seen from the cottage.
The converted original farm Silo can accommodate 2 adults, and has a private bedroom and bathroom, a small kitchenette equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities, a toaster, a microwave, a small fridge, and a Nespresso machine.
Situated behind the cellar, the Stables accommodation has been converted from the original old farm stables, and can accommodate 4 adults and 1 child. The spacious unit comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, and a lounge.
Guests can explore the vineyards, swim in the dams, and enjoy beautiful sunsets and Swartland views. This is a working farm with a love for animals, and guests can expect large and lazy dogs, horses, chickens, peacocks, guinea fowl, and bunnies to cuddle.
