Sweet spot, but with some location concerns.

Excellent customer service from the manager, Byron. Very comfortable beds, and a beautiful view. Safety was a tremendous concern but I believe it is being managed. Couches need to be renewed- very uncomfortable to sit on, and overall a little excessively priced. We still had a lot of fun with lots to do in the region.

Very pleasant stay and just what we were looking for.

Neat, clean, and close to the Addo Elephant Park. Nicely priced too.

Nie wat verwag is vir sulke duur verblyf nie.

Aanvanklik is ons 3 dae voordat ons moes arriveer laat weet daar is 'n fout met ons bespreking en ons het nie meer verblyf nie, toe reeds 50% deposito betaal. Met 'n gesukkel toe wel in die huis gebly. Teleurgesteld dat daar nie 'n resensie was om te gaan lees nie. Hopeloos te duur vir wat jy kry. Mooi uitsig en op die rivier, maar die kombuis en badkamers (waarvan daar nie foto's was nie) is geweldig oud en afgeleef. Stortgordyne aan die orde van die dag, met een van die storte waarvan die water nie eers wegloop as jy stort nie - so jy staan in koue grillerige water terwyl jy stort. Krane lek en maak onaardse geluide. Skottelgoedwasser het ook water gelek. Baie potensiaal as daar ernstige opknappingswerk gedoen kan word. Sou beslis nie aanbeveel in die toestand waarin die huis nou is nie, jammer.

Initially we were informed 3 days before we were due to arrive that there was an error with our booking and we no longer had accommodation, then already paid 50% deposit. With a struggle then did stay in the house. Disappointed that there wasn't a review to go read. Hopelessly overpriced for what you get. Nice view and on the river, but the kitchen and bathrooms (of which there were no photos) are extremely old and shabby. Shower curtains are the order of the day, with one of the showers not even draining when you shower - so you're standing in cold, chilly water while showering. Faucets leak and make unearthly noises. Dishwasher also leaked water. Lots of potential if serious renovation work can be done. Would definitely not recommend in the condition the house is in now, sorry.
