Situated in the heart of the Winelands, at the foot of the Helderberg Mountain, the beautiful setting of Africa Lodge offers you comfortable and stylish accommodation.

All rooms are African-styled and have a thatched roof. Each room is equipped with a TV, mini safe, hairdryer and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A refrigerator is available on request. We also have 4 cottages, each with an en-suite bathroom, veranda and direct access to the lush garden. The Honeymoon/Family room, which is 60-square metres in size, has an en-suite bathroom and its own terrace and separate access.

The full continental breakfast, with a gluten-free option on request, can be enjoyed either alfresco or in the breakfast room. The swimming pool and large garden are absolutely private. Secure off-road parking space is available. Should you wish to go out in town, your hosts will be happy to arrange all your bookings for restaurants and tours. There are many excellent restaurants in and around Somerset West.

Surrounded by many famous wine estates, Somerset West is the ideal base for exploring the entire Cape Peninsula; Cape Town with its V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Robben Island, The Cape of Good Hope or the penguins in Simon's Town are other favourite hot spots.
