Description

Afrikan Sunset is situated in the heart of the Waterberg biosphere reserve, 22 km from Vaalwater and 211 km from Pretoria. This lovely lodge offers breathtaking views of the savannah, where guests can enjoy the quietness of the bush with the excitement of spotting plenty of wildlife and birdlife.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in 6 rooms. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, and is equipped with a bar fridge and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Breakfast is included, lunch and dinner are available are available combining Spanish cuisine and typical African dishes. Free Wi-Fi is also available.

The lodge offers a swimming pool, braai area, and secure parking, as well as strategically placed bird watching blinds for the avid bird watcher.

In addition, there are many various activities available such as game drives and guided walks or you can book a horse ride through the savanna, a visit to Welgevonden Game Reserve for a Big Five game drive, which the lodge can arrange for a small fee. Guests can also visit Eventeria Wildlife Park, and enjoy activities in the area, such as mountain biking, and trail running.
