Situated within walking distance of the beach and bustling village, with its many restaurants and shops, Albatros is an upmarket guest house, in the middle of the popular Golf Coast, offering luxury accommodation and superb views.

Each of the luxury air-conditioned rooms has an en-suite or private bathroom, TV with selected DStv channels, tea- and coffee-making facilities, hairdryer, and a private balcony with expansive 180-degree sea views, from where you can relax and watch whales and dolphins which abound during Margate's natural phenomenon of the annual sardine run, the greatest shoal on earth.

Establishment facilities include an undercover braai area (which must be booked in advance to use). There is also a pool table and swimming pool. Parking with a house- and garden security alarm is also available. Breakfast can be taken on the deck in the mornings which is a great way to start the day.

If lazing around the pool is not for you, there is plenty to keep you busy during your stay with us. Sandy beaches stretch for miles along the coast of the warm Indian Ocean, which offers a variety of activities including safe, protected swimming, surfing, or scuba diving with the sharks at Protea Banks and Aliwal Shoal. Whale and dolphin watching boat trips, angling, and deep sea fishing trips are also very popular.
