Alien Inn is situated in Sutherland and offers quality accommodation, ideally suited for a family or group of friends. It is perfect for a winter breakaway to see the snow and also to visit the South African Large Telescope, with clear skies and magnificent stars at night.

The house comprises 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 7 guests at a time. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom has a double bed and 1 three-quarter bed. There is 1 bathroom in the house and features a bath, shower, toilet and basin. Electric blankets and extra bedding is supplied during the winter months.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, fridge, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. Coffee, tea, rusks, and sugar are provided.

The lounge has a fireplace for the cold, winter evening as well as ample comfortable seating, including a double sleeper couch. Selected DStv channels and free Wi-Fi are available.

The house has outdoor braai facilities for guests to prepare meals together. There is also secure parking on the premises.

The house is within easy reach of the Tourism Office, shops and restaurants and a 15 minute drive from SALT (South African Large Telescope).
