Set in a quiet neighbourhood of Drakensview in Estcourt, away from the bustle of town, you will find Alkamia B&B. The guest house is situated within an easy 10 km drive from the N3, making it a convenient stopover between Johannesburg and Durban. Friendly service and personal attention are provided as the owner lives on the same premises.

These free-standing units can each accommodate up to 2 guests and have private entrances. Each unit consists of a room with twin beds, an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin as well as a fully equipped kitchenette for self-catering purposes. The room has a work desk, TV with selected DStv channels, bar fridge, microwave, kettle, all cutlery and crockery needed as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Bedding and towels are provided. There are braai facilities on the premises and secure parking.

Enjoy our traditional English breakfast or a Continental breakfast.

Alkamia is also ideal to use as a base from which to explore the Drakensberg Mountains, Giants Castle (World Heritage Sites), Midlands Meander, Anglo Boer War Battlefields Sites and Weenen Game Reserve. It is also within close proximity to Spar, Wimpy, ATM and central town.
