Description
On the hilltop at Alkantmooi Private Nature Reserve Keursee, you will find yourself surrounded by some of nature’s most exquisite visual displays. The calm turquoise of the Indian Ocean seamlessly merges into the green and gold of lush indigenous forests and pristine fynbos that covers the blue-grey mountains, capped by the magnificent African sky. Guiding your eyes through this collage of never-ending vistas is the Keurbooms River. The property is powered by solar so loadshedding is never an issue.
Alkantmooi's units all boast spectacular views. There are 5 units of which 4 have fully equipped kitchens and 1 has a kitchenette. All 5 units feature each an open-plan living area and bathroom with a bath and or a shower. In-room amenities include free Wi-Fi internet access, a flat-screen TV with selected DStv channels, room safe for valuable items, and hairdryers. Linen and towels are also provided. The units are serviced daily, except on Sundays and public holidays.
Alkantmooi Private Nature Reserve is situated in the Keurbooms River Valley close to Plettenberg Bay. Originally named Bahia Formosa, or the Beautiful Bay, by Portuguese explorer Manuel de Perestrelo, Plettenberg Bay is on South Africa’s renowned Garden Route.
Although Alkantmooi is a 10 km drive from Plettenberg Bay’s well-developed holiday infrastructure, the private nature reserve is secluded enough to provide nature lovers with the peace and quiet necessary to appreciate the splendour.
