Overpriced, but spacious and adequate.

The inside space is very spacious and nicely decorated. I don't feel it's value for money at all. The patio is shared with the other flat, so we were lucky it wasn't occupied. The owner is not on the premises and didn't respond to a query about no WiFi for nearly 24 hours. The person that could have helped sooner was apparently on the property, but we weren't assisted until the next day. Simple printed instructions would have sufficed. Their dog nipped my son's leg! It was out at 5 am, barking and waking us. The kitchen plugs don't fit, and the bed mattress was very hard. There are no dustbins (1 kitchen bin only - we had to ask for more) and only 1 light per room. Bathrooms have no hooks for wet towels or shelves (we used chairs to put toothbrushes on). They have an ant problem, with ineffective traps. All in all, it wasn't a very comfortable stay, and is overpriced, but the place has a lot going for it.

We only recently started the self-catering unit and do appreciate constructive criticism. The extra lighting in the rooms, additional dustbins, and towel rails are noted. Thank you. The WiFi problem was due to load-shedding and is normally easy to reset. The whole Langebaan has an ant problem at the moment, but the property was recently sprayed again. We never take more than one booking at a time. The incident with our Pekingese is most unfortunate; she is not usually on the premises. However, you did assure me there was no harm done and again, we apologise for the scare.
