Description

Alpetra Nature Reserve is a 4000-hectare private game reserve in the beautiful Waterberg District of the Limpopo Province, and offers guests comfortably furnished self-catering accommodation amongst free roaming animals and a variety of bird species.

Guests have a choice of 4 to 6-sleeper chalets, and a large private lodge that can accommodate 12 people, with lovely dam or mountain views. The units are furnished with double beds and single beds, and have private bathrooms fitted with showers and baths.

Each of the units has a private kitchen that is equipped with an induction stove, a microwave, a fridge, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Guests can relax in a private lounge that is fitted with a cosy fireplace, and some of the units open onto a private patio.

The Buffelsfontein Lodge offers a private heated swimming pool, and a boma fireplace.

Guests will park at the main camp, and will be driven to the lovely thatched roof Lakeside Cabin which is fitted with solar energy, for a comfortable stay, it is suggested that guests pack as if they are going on a camping weekend. There is limited to no cellphone reception at the cabin, and fishing is allowed in the dam.
