Amakhala Woodbury Tented Camp
Description
The canvas tents are on raised bases with private decks, providing an authentic camping experience in the African bush, with all the amenities you may need during your stay. Each tent has an en-suite basin and shower, electricity, hot running water, and fully stocked tea- and coffee-making facilities. An option of king or twin beds are available, which are made up with electric blankets to make those cold winter nights extra cosy. Most tents have breathtaking views looking out onto the reserve. One might even find the odd animal grazing in front of your tent behind the safety of the fences, allowing guests to walk freely around Camp.

Optional extras on request include transport to and from the Chief Dawid stuurman International Airport, an exclusive safari vehicle to rent and a safari guide.
Check-in time is between 1 pm and 2 pm as game drives depart between 3 pm and 4 pm depending on the season. Should guests arrive before this time, Woodbury Tented Camp staff will accommodate them to the best of their ability.
Guests will be required to sign an indemnity form on arrival. Please remain assured that Woodbury Tented Camp will take every precaution to ensure guests' safety during their stay at Woodbury Tented Camp.
Children are welcomed at Woodbury Tented Camp but no children under the age of 6 are allowed on Game Drives.
Woodbury Tented Camp reserves the right to admit any guests/s and furthermore reserves the right to remove any guest/s whose behaviour impacts negatively on other guests and/ or staff.
Please note that there is gravel road leading to the accommodation. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Families are able to enjoy the African bush together with 2 tents adjoining on the balcony. The tent has an option of a king-size bed or twin beds on request made up with electric blankets. The main canvas safari tent has an en-suite basin, shower and a separate private toilet. Each safari tent has the availability of 24-hour electricity and hot running water. Tea- and coffee-making facilities are also available in the main tent. Parents can enjoy privacy while knowing the children are not far away.
