Ambiance Apartment, a north facing apartment is ideally situated in the central, quiet, safe, leafy suburb of Oranjezicht, in Cape Town's City Bowl, against the foothills of Table Mountain. Cool in summer and warm in winter. Ceiling fans in all rooms plus a heater and hot water bottles in winter.
It is fully furnished and equipped, comfortable, cool and clean. There are 2 bedrooms; 1 large main bedroom with queen-size bed and the second, smaller bedroom has 2 single beds. Ambiance apartment can sleep 1 - 4 persons. It is more comfortable for a family of 4, rather than 4 adults. The bathroom has a bath with a fixed hand shower to enable showering. There is a large sitting room, with an open-plan dining counter and a well equipped, open-plan kitchen with a drop in hob with extractor fan and a microwave. For those of you who plan to bake cakes/ cook roasts, please know there is no oven. Ambiance has an open balcony with 4 wrought iron chairs and a glass table. Here you can enjoy a sundowner, or dine alfresco, whilst looking at the mirrored mountain views, or the beautiful row of Victorian houses in Prince Street. The sitting room is equipped with a TV, limited DStv, a DVD player and a small radio/music /CD player, plus a pocket Wi-Fi, for use, but Telkom data (plus full DSTV package) at guests own expense.
All bed linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels and kitchen towels. We provide a secure, private parking bay marked 105.
Ambiance Apartment is also easily accessible from the airport along the N1 or N2 highways. A quick drive to Sea Point, Clifton, and Camps Bay. A 10 minute drive to the te Green Point Stadium, V&A Waterfront, Kirstenbosch, Canal Walk and Hout Bay. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the city centre, the Gardens Shopping Centre, the many museums, the planetarium, art galleries, a cinema and theaters, plus numerous other attractions and restaurants. In fact, most of what the city has to offer, is an easy walk away.
Ambiance is on the bus route, opposite de Waal Park with its free Summer Sunday music concerts and a couple of blocks from the Mount Nelson Hotel and the Cape Town Red Tourist hop on and hop off bus stop. It is comfortable, cosy and quiet. Ambiance can be rented for a longer term, fully furnished with a negotiated monthly rental.
