Description
Amohela ho Spitskop Country Retreat & Conservancy is nestled in a beautiful valley between the small rural farming towns of Ficksburg and Clocolan, with views that stretch to the majestic Maluti Mountains in the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. The spacious self-catering cottages are secluded and private, and are beautifully positioned to offer spectacular views of the scenic Eastern Free State.
Accommodation comprises 7 units, suited to accommodate between 2 and 7 guests. All units are equipped with comfortable beds and bathrooms. The 5 self-catering cottages are each comfortably furnished, have large open-plan living- and dining areas with a fully equipped kitchen, and braai facilities on the veranda. The 2 en-suite garden rooms have tea and coffee, can accommodate 2 guests each and are on a room only basis.
On-site facilities include a swimming pool, a braai area, and pets are welcome by prior arrangement. There is safe parking and the cottages are serviced daily, while free Wi-Fi is available at the reception area.
Nearby activities include fishing, bird watching, cycling, game drives and mountain biking. As a registered conservancy, the retreat offers walks, hikes, climbs into the small mountain, swimming with panoramic views, superb birding, small mammal viewing, cycling on and off the property, scenic beauty, as well as great day drives.
