Description
Artist's Cottage is a spacious cottage for up to 6 people in Ladybrand.
Decorated with various pieces of art, the spacious air-conditioned cottage comprises of 2 bedrooms; 1 of the rooms contain a double bed, while the second room contains 2 single beds. The bedrooms share the use of a bathroom with a bath and a shower, and hot water is provided by a solar geyser. A double sleeper couch is available in the lounge. For convenience, bedding and towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a stove and oven, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. A washing machine is also available for use.
The lounge area is equipped with a TV and a DVD player, and guest are welcome to bring their own decoder, remote and smart card for DStv. Free internet is also available.
The cottage opens onto a covered stoep, and guests have the use of a private garden. Pets are welcome with prior arrangement. Undercover secure parking is available on the premises.
Artist's Cottage is located on the same premises as the gallery of Thandi Sliepen, and is within walking distance of the town. Guests can also visit the various rock art sites in the area, one of which is the national heritage site, Tandjiesberg.
