Asdia Wild offers a unique and private self-catering experience set in the amazing African bush, on 1000-hectares of wildlife reserve just 2 hours north of Pretoria. Asdia Wild is home to a large variety of birds and wildlife including zebra, giraffe, hippo and wildebeest.
Asdia Wild has the feel of a game lodge and is rented out exclusively to only 1 group of up to 14 guests at a time, ensuring your privacy. Accommodation is offered in 6 thatched en-suite chalets. The first, second and third chalets each contain a double bed. The fourth and fifth chalets each contain 3 single beds. The sixth chalet contains a king-size bed. The en-suite bathrooms each contain a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
There is a main thatched entertainment area that contains a kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fitted with a gas hob, fridges, a microwave, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area contains a 10-seater dining table and chairs. Outside, there is an under-thatch patio with seating and a view over the African bush. The entertainment area also has use of a his-and-hers ablution facility.
There is a lovely swimming pool area with seating, the ideal place to relax while watching the sun set straight down the unparalleled and magnificent Waterberg valley.
Guests are welcome to roam the reserve on foot. A great day adventure is to visit and play at the farm dam situated only minutes from the lodge. A zip-line from a tower into the water offers a more exciting activity for the bold, and can be accessed on request. There are tremendous day hikes into the stunning Waterberg mountain range which are easily accessible from the lodge.
Just 30 minutes from the nearest town makes Asdia Wild extremely accessible and ideal for anything from a weekend away to a well-needed vacation.
