Ashbourne Boutique Guest House is an award-winning, colonial guest house built in 1897, it was honoured with a special restoration award by The Franschhoek Trust. Enlarged and refurbished to the highest standards by the present owners, the guest house provides spacious airy interiors and wide shady verandas.

Ashbourne House has 8 beautifully decorated suites. Each suite is fitted with air-conditioning, a ceiling-mounted fan, fridge with mini-bar, tea and coffee tray, free fibre optics Wi-Fi, television, a safe, hairdryer and heated towel rails in the luxury marble shower rooms, as well as a private-use patio set. No 2 rooms are the same; they have each been individually decorated and positioned to take full advantage of the patios and balconies with views onto the, shaded courtyard garden, mountains or a quiet, residential village street.

The guest house has a luxurious lounge and breakfast area which echo the flare of the guest house's colonial heritage. The vine-shaded patios and wooden balconies overlook a treed courtyard garden and swimming pool, as well as offering wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.

Ashbourne House is known for its delicious buffet breakfasts, comfortable beds and excellent, friendly service from the new owners, Tim and Nadine.

Ashbourne House are not affected by load shedding and has a state-of-the-art solar installation and a back-up battery.
