Avonsrus Guest House is located in Augrabies in the Northern Cape and offers quality accommodation for up to 8 guests, ideally suited for the adventurous nature lover or business traveller. The house is located close to the Augrabies Waterfalls, which makes it the perfect place from which to explore the area and all the activities it has to offer.
The restored farmhouse was originally built in 1954. The house comprises air conditioning and 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and 1 bunk bed, and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, mini oven, microwave, crockery, and cutlery. The lounge holds comfortable seating, as well as 2 sleeper couches to accommodate additional guests.
There is a lovely braai area and vinewood for sale so you can make a fire to your heart's delight and relax under the beautiful starry sky so unique to rural areas. There is also plenty of space, a jungle gym, and toys on the big property for children to play and climb.
Braai and breakfast packs are available on request. A farm breakfast and dinner can be provided on request. Free Wi-Fi is available as well as full DStv and Netflix.
There is a basic shop and beauty salon within walking distance of the house.
