We stayed for a weekend in the luxury safari tent.

We stayed within the Riverside Cottage unit of Baluleni Safari Lodge, which is also managed by Elke and Erwin van Eeden. We only spent one night there but loved it. A lovely spot with charming hosts. We would go again but this time to River Cottage

Our accommodation was lovely with such a lot of space. We are very happy to sit on the stoep and see what comes by. We would have liked to be able to see the opposite bank of the river and next time we shall book River Cottage which has the view. A beautiful haven stuck in the middle of nowhere

This is an absolutely beautiful place in a beautiful setting; however, their details regarding their positioning and location need to be much clearer. We have a vehicle which we do not even take on gravel roads, let alone on the almost 4x4 route which takes you to this establishment. This was definitely not clear and we actually had to load all of our luggage and passengers into the owner's Land Rover and drive our vehicle out empty in order to make it out. What was also not clear on was that the dirt road will take approximately one hour to travel, before you reach Baluleni. It is a lovely, clean, tidy place but is definitely NOT a stopover for one night. This is a place that you visit for four days or more.

Lovely place with friendly people

It is a lovely place to wind down for a week end. There are some 'wild' animals like warthogs and monkeys, that come and go through out the day. At night there were a few elephants that passed by, and we could watch them from the lounge window.
