Bambelela Wildlife Rehab NPC and Vervet Monkey Rehabilitation
Description
The Ho Thabela unit is suited to accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is furnished with 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 is furnished with a double bed, 2 single beds and a double sleeper couch. Additionally, bedroom 1 has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet and shower-over-bath, while guests share a guest toilet located on the ground floor. The open-plan living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchen is a lounge with comfortable couches and a TV and a dining table and chairs, which is an ideal spot for guests to enjoy their meals together. Maximum of 8 people to be accommodated.

There is a flight of stairs in the chalet, and these are not toddler safe.
Please note that there are rehabilitated, free-living monkeys, baboons and other wildlife roaming around Bambelela. Having Monkeys and Baboons around requires some do's and don’ts to ensure a peaceful co-existence.
The rate includes the following:
- Housekeeping service once a day
- tea, coffee, toiletries
- a 1.5-hour guided rehab tour
- From October to February, you can join "Nappy Hour" (baby Vervet Monkeys getting their diapers on for sleeping with their surrogate mom).
Please confirm about any late check out on Sundays. Normal check-in is from 14:00, and check-out is at 11:00.
Please note that the cellphone coverage is not very good around the chalets. There's only cellphone coverage in certain areas on the farm.
We do have a credit card facility, but cash is also welcome.
24/7 Wi-Fi is available at R50 per device for 3 days/2 nights.
