Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge is situated within the Greater Addo region, adjoining the Addo Elephant National Park and just a scenic drive away from the Nelson Mandela Bay metropole. This fully fenced game reserve is both malaria free and tourist friendly. Whether you just want to relax, enjoy our wild life on a game drive or nature walk, or visit a historical site, this is the perfect place for you.

Accommodation comprises 10 unique and spacious units. These environmentally friendly units, housed on elevated wooden decks, are perfectly designed to blend discreetly into their surrounding valley bushveld environment. These units each feature a twin- or king-size bed configuration and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a spacious shower, twin basins and a separate toilet. Large sliding doors open onto a wooden deck with a private spa bath. In-room amenities include safes, hairdryers, ceiling fans, a wood-burning fireplace and tea- and coffee-making facilities.Although there are no TVs in the units, guests can make use of the Wi-Fi Internet connection.

Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge offers a wide range of activities. On our game drives and walking safaris, you can observe other wild animals such as giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and antelope at close range. Birding enthusiasts will also be astounded by the region’s abundant bird species. There are also mountain biking-, walking- and running trails as well as guided walks. Please note these activities can only be done with a guide present.
