Description
Bateleur Tented Safari Lodge and Bush Spa is situated in the foothills of the Waterberg Mountains and offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy the romance of staying in a typical Hemingway-style, tented camp. Bateleur Tented Safari Lodge is approximately 4 hours drive from Johannesburg, making it an ideal weekend destination.
The lodge offers accommodation in 9 tented safari units, accommodating 2 guests in either single or double beds. Each unit is complete with 220v electricity, air-conditioning and an en-suite bathroom.
The lodge offers early morning and late afternoon game drives in open vehicles, as well as guided walks by experienced rangers. Enjoy dinners around the campfire, watch game drinking at the watering hole in front of the camp, relax around the swimming pool or sip on a beverage, served by the friendly staff.
The kitchen offers you a wide selection of mouth-watering local cuisine. Sit inside our thatched dining room or enjoy a romantic candle light dinner in the garden under our majestic Marula trees. Bar and Meals by special and direct request only. Requests should be made at least 1 week in advance.
Daily activities can be combined to visit some archaeological sites, fishing in the Palala River, archery and clay pigeon shooting as well as adventure trips for the kids. The Bateleur Bush Spa is ideal to escape into the beautiful surroundings of the African bushveld while being treated into relaxation and revitalisation. Various spa packages are also available at the lodge.
