Lekker gebly.

Skoon, netjies en vriendelik. Net bietjie raserig as mense opstaan, deure toemaak ens. hoor mens als duidelik. Ek slaap lig en is baie steurend.

Clean and neat.

The premises are nice and clean and look good once you arrive there. The room, bathroom and bedding were clean and tidy. Tea, coffee and a kettle are provided for the room, but we found no teaspoons or any other utensils in the room. This makes the stirring process a little more difficult than usual. Otherwise, we can't complain.

Heerlik sal beslis weer bespreek in die toekoms.

Kamer 403 het geen warm water gehad tydens verblyf en kamer kon nie verhit word nie. Lugversorging buite werking.

The Hotel served the purpose that I needed it for perfectly.

We were up in Sasolburg for an U15 Cricket tournament. Hotel was comfortable, a great, firm bed with nice linen. Was ideally situated with short driving distances to the grounds where the boys played. Service was very welcoming.

We generally enjoyed the accommodation.

A beautiful hotel and convention facilities. Friendly reception. The prepacked breakfast for clients is not my preference, although I understand for reason they use it as explained to me. I do appreciate that they served me the breakfast a requested. Thank you for that. I would also have preferred to have ironing facilities in the room. The most unfriendly service I have ever come across. Did not feel welcome at all.

As a conference-goer who made a private reservation I was received in a very unfriendly manner. It seemed as if it was an intense struggle for the two young women to smile in order to make us feel welcome. When I asked a question, one of them sighed as if I was stupid. The overall body language was really bad. The hot water in the shower is also a real problem. There is little to no hot water available. When we complained about that, they told me that I did not know how a shower tap worked and because they use gas one should only open the tap a little. We use gas at home and know how it works. The young man made me feel like an idiot, once again body language to indicate exactly how stupid I am. Food for the conference-goers: The lunch was lasagne and I wondered who was going to watch and who was going to eat. The portions were as big as two matchboxes. They dished for us and when asked for an extra portion, they rudely replied no. There was salad with it and that was delicious, but an hour later everyone was complaining that they were hungry again. I also have to add that not everyone received food. Dinner was a gala-affair and consisted of starters, mains and desserts. The starter was a block of fish (supposedly) that was smaller than a matchbox. Before the staff arrived to dish, people were taking two pieces of fish each. This is naturally not Be My Guest's fault, but they should have had staff on duty from the start to prevent this. It was also just the block of fish. Nothing else. My husband stood in line for the starter with five other conference-goers and the fish was finished before they could get. When asked if there was more available, they were once again rudely told no. At that stage they were starting to bring out the salad for the mains and when the ones who did not get a starter started to dish salad for a starter, they were asked to please stop. The mains was delicious. Our table got to dish first, but there was also not enough for everyone. I have to wonder how Be My Guest caters for a conference of 70 people and then there isn't enough food. The dessert also wasn't enough. I have to add that there was no coffee or tea served after the meals. There was coffee available during the conference though. There was also ants in the rooms and fish moths in the towels. I am not complaining, just asking that they look at it. I did bring it to their attention, but was only told that they would look into it. The man didn't even make a note of it. One bonus: we booked for breakfast as included and it was delicious. We got enough, maybe because we were first or maybe just early. I struggle to recommend Be My Guest mainly because of the friendliness, or lack thereof. Of all the places I have booked through LekkeSlaap, Be My Guest was my biggest disappointment. These young people have a lot to learn about customer service.
