Beach Forest lodge is situated just 400 m from Ballito’s beachfront overlooking the seclusion of the tropical Pigeonwood Forest. It offers a tranquil and relaxing tropical setting so is just the place for those wanting a peaceful, quiet getaway.

Owner-managed, Beach Forest Lodge offers 4 spacious self-catering apartments, all with their own entrances, private patios and braai areas, set in a peaceful tropical garden paradise. There is a beautiful pool deck with a large pool overlooking the serenity of our Koi ponds. All our apartments are equipped with air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, DStv and Wi-Fi.

Beach Forest Lodge is built on a slope, there are therefore varying degrees of stairs to all apartments except Yellowwood, which is on the ground level. Milkwood has its own staircase inside the apartment which makes it unsuitable for toddlers or anyone who may experience difficulty with stairs. (Although we can provide stair gates). The larger units are suited to families rather than multi-couple bookings.

The lodge is situated within a 5-minute walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and pubs in Ballito and is a mere 13 km from Durban’s King Shaka International Airport, making it an ideal stop over before or after flights. KwaZulu-Natal offers year round holiday tropical weather, with lazy warm summer days and cool winter nights. Enjoy the varied activities available in an around our delightful town - including our permanent Lifestyle Food market and many excellent restaurants.
