Description

Beachfront Garden Cottages offer comfortable seaside accommodation by means of two self-catering cottages and a luxury main house. The property is located on beautiful Clansthal Beach, which is a 1,1 km drive to Scottburgh.

Cottage 1 is sea-facing and can accommodate 6 guests. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and features built-in cupboards, bedside lamps, and an electronic safe. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and features built-in cupboards and bedside lamps. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and features built-in cupboards. The cottage has a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, make-up cupboard, and toilet. It is also paraplegic and wheelchair friendly.

Cottage 2 is garden-facing and can accommodate six guests. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and features built-in cupboards, bedside lamps, and an electronic safe. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and features built-in cupboards and bedside lamps. The third bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed and features built-in cupboards. The cottage has a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, make-up cupboard, and toilet. It is also paraplegic and wheelchair friendly.

Both cottages are fully furnished and amenities include free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with a full DStv bouquet. The open-plan kitchen features granite tops and is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, necessary cooking utensils, cutlery, an electric oven and a gas stove. Linen and bath towels are provided, however guests are required to bring their own beach towels. Each cottage has its own undercover parking area, and guests may also park adjacent to the cottage.

The Luxury Beach House is situated directly on the beachfront and sleeps 10 guests. The first bedroom is furnished with cupboards a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, king bed, cupboards, and an office area, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin. The third bedroom is furnished with a double bed, queen-size bed, table and chairs, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin (this toilet also serves as a ‘guest’ bathroom). Each room has air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a large smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and has a gas stove, and there is filtered water throughout the premises. The lounge is open-plan with aluminium glass sliding doors. The house also has a dedicated garage for a single medium-sized car. Linen and towels were provided.

Both cottages and the main house share the same communal areas, which include a patio with a built-in braai, an outdoor tiled shower, built-in railway sleeper benches with table tops, and a grass-front lawn area facing the beach. The lawn includes three seating areas for guests to use, relax, and enjoy meals or sundowners. There is a communal laundry on site with two washing machines and a tumble dryer.
