Description

Biesieslaagte Guest Farm is a great overnight stop for travellers en route to Cape Town or the West Coast. The farm is located along the R63, about 900 km from Gauteng and 600 km from Cape Town. It is also a fantastic getaway for those looking for the openness and silence of the Karoo.

This farm cottage has a capacity of 8 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and a bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. There are 2 bedrooms that are each furnished with a double bed, while the third bedroom contains a single and a double bed.

The cottage makes use of solar power and gas geysers. The main living area features a kitchen equipped with a gas stove, a fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as a dining table with stools. The lounge area includes comfortable seating and a single sleeper couch.

The braai area outside has a lovely fireplace and a screen to ward off most of the wind. For the hot summer days, there is a swimming dam to cool off in.

There is more than enough space and ridges to explore and also a marked mountain bike route to pedal. Guests can walk or drive to the hill in the late afternoon for stunning sunset views.
