Description
Bird Paradise is a lovely double-storey self-catering family holiday home ideally located in Marloth Park. Marloth Park is a wildlife sanctuary and holiday town situated on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park. Marloth has its own wildlife that roams freely between the homes and you get to meet them right on your doorstep; enjoy the sight of kudu, zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, nyala, impala, warthog, and plenty more. Apart from the wildlife, Marloth Park also has spectacular flora. A variety of restaurants will cater for the hungry while 2 shops supply the self-catering guests. In addition to this, Marloth Park offers all the basic commodities such as a hardware store, curio shop, butcheries, liquor store, and more. The home is surrounded with bushes and trees that give you complete privacy.
The home can accommodate up to 12 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. The first bedroom contains a double bed and a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin. The second bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The third, fourth and fifth bedrooms are located upstairs. The third bedroom contains a double bed and the fourth bedroom contains 2 single beds. The fifth bedroom contains a bunk bed and 2 single beds. These rooms share an upstairs bathroom with a shower-over-bath, a toilet, and a washbasin.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery, a stove and oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, and basic kitchen appliances that also include an ice machine, a dishwasher, and a washing machine for convenience. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area contains dining table and chairs. The lounge area contains seating, and there is air-conditioning in the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and in the bedroom with the bunkbed upstairs. The air-conditioning is prepaid and for the guests' account.
Going outside you will enjoy a sparkling splash pool for the hot summer days. A fire pit and boma area are available. There are also additional chairs for use outside. At the bottom of the yard is a water stream when it rains.
Activities in and around the park include bush breakfasts, game drives inside Marloth and Lion Spruit as well as in the Kruger Park, night drives in Kruger National Park, tiger fishing in Komatipoort, quad bikes, mountain bikes, restaurants, horse riding, and more. You can even arrange a game of golf inside the Kruger Park at Skukuza. Situated between Malelane and Komatipoort, 2 entrance gates can be used to enter the Kruger National Park.
