Beautiful place, probably a nice getaway for a weekend stay.

When I made the booking, I explained that we were travelling from Hoedspruit, so we arrived a little after 6. Our welcome was lukewarm, and we were told that the restaurant had already closed, so we had to go elsewhere for dinner. Breakfast service only started at 9, and the service was slow, so when we returned to our rooms, the beds had already been stripped, and it felt like we were delaying the process. However, the grounds and views are beautiful.

Not a bad stay, needs work though.

It was a great time away, just lots of little things that were in need of attention, broken glass windows, the main doors to the room did not lock and were not able to lock for the evening when asleep so was an uncomfortable night's sleep. Towels very worn and generally need replacing. Shower head was very blocked and had to be cleaned before we could have a shower, the dehumidifier was full of water and in need of cleaning, it was very dirty, there is no lights at all to get to the room and it is so dark and dangerous to miss a step and fall. No real welcome wagon and introductions to the room or how the services worked, wifi, etc. Bathroom door was completely unable to close properly at all, blind in the bathroom was very dirty and looks like some mold growing on it. There was just a collection of small things that just made the stay a little disappointing for the price asked and paid.

Wonderful setting and very welcoming staff - good food fare - rooms need TLC.

Rooms are nice but can improve on housekeeping, provide shower gel and larger towels - repair outside lights - difficult to negotiate stairs, opening doors in the dark! Replace broken windows in doors.

Great stay with super friendly staff.

Stunning place to relax, away from the city rush.
