Black Rock Beach Cottage is located in Zinkwazi, one of the rare, beautiful, unspoilt beaches still left in Southern Africa with a 7 kilometres stretch of lagoon situated amongst the lush palm trees of the Zinkwazi conservancy.

These rustic beach front units have been up and running for 21 years and are typical beach cottages. The bathrooms and kitchens are a bit outdated but they are working and fully functional.

Black Rock Beach Cottage is a double storey house with a separate little flat in the garden and is situated right on the beach front. The top section sleeps 10, the bottom section sleeps 6 and the little flatlet sleeps 4. These units can be booked separately or as a whole unit sleeping up to 20 people.

The top section comprise 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, lounge area, dining room and a lovely bar area that leads onto a sundeck with a built-in braai, and a lovely view of the ocean. The bottom section comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with extra toilet, fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast nook, lounge area, and its own braai area.

The flatlet comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, open-plan kitchen and lounge area, and its own braai area. Although this unit is right on the beach front, it does not have a sea view.

The property is fenced, has an alarm system to armed response, burglar bars on all the windows as well as security gates on all the doors.

The endless beaches of Zinkwazi is perfect for fishing, swimming, surfing, diving or just walking and for bird watching enthusiasts. There are 180 different species of bird life in the area. Zinkwazi is also close to Zululand's wealth of splendid game reserves, 2 being the Umfolozi and the Prince's Grant. For the historians there are several historical sights like The Ultimatum Tree and Fort Pearson.
