Our accommodation is within close walking distance from the Brenton Blue Butterfly Reserve, small secluded beaches, (accessible just off the Fisherman’s Walk, some 100m in front of us) and a 5km stretch of beach ideal for long walks that stretch to Buffalo Bay and beyond. Guests can also enjoy a more leisurely walk along Fisherman’s walk along the Brenton Cliffs. Take time to sit on one of the many benches, along this walk, to just enjoy the views that stretch the length of rugged coastline.
This is a wonderful destination for the nature lover seeking a relaxed environment to return too after a day on the beach or after exploring the beautiful Garden Route. Bushbuck, the Knysna Turaco (Loerie) and mongoose are often spotted in our garden and the surrounds and the bird life is exceptional.
During the months from June to November the Southern Right whales visit our coastline and can often be spotted from our upper deck or Fisherman's Walk. Dolphin's are often spotted too.
There are 2 restaurants, Nautilus South and Brenton Blu, as well as a Deli and Coffee Shop which are within walking or close driving distance, that offer a welcome alternative to self catering.
Please note that our accommodation is non-smoking but ashtray’s are provided for guests whom are more than welcome to smoke on their private patio area which also offers outdoor table and chairs as well as a designated BBQ area to the side of the house.
There is an allocated parking bay for guests within the property with automated access control.
The accommodation is best suited for couple's seeking a relaxed getaway.
Pets are not permitted at our establishment.
