Set high on the slopes above the village, 430 m from the beach and the lake below, Boardwalk Lodge Self-catering is a lovely lodge and popular retreat situated in the tranquil seaside village of Wilderness on the famous Garden Route. The lodge’s innovative design, exclusive features and excellent facilities provide the ultimate Wilderness experience.

The accommodation comprises lovely self-catering units that can accommodate between 2 to 4 people. Each of the units is furnished with comfortable beds, and offers a full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, as well a beautiful lounge area with spectacular views. Each unit also offers a TV with selected DStv channels, as well as Wi-Fi access, and guests have the option to choose a unit with either a gas fireplace or a gas braai, while some of the units are equipped with both.

Blending into the backdrop of beautiful indigenous forests and overlooking the Indian Ocean and surrounding lagoons, the lodge is built on a forested slope with stairs to reach the various units.

Boardwalk Lodge Self-catering offers braai facilities, a swimming pool, conference facilities, as well as secure parking, and is an ideal venue for intimate weddings, honeymoons, celebrations, meetings, small conferences, team-building events, and other corporate functions.

The area offers a variety of activities such as horse riding, fishing, bird watching, cycling, paragliding, game drives, game viewing, guided walks, mountain biking, and swimming.
