B's Cottage is located in Stanford, a genuine Cape-village. Positioned between Hermanus and Gansbaai, Stanford is ideally positioned for a laid-back getaway in a historic village with antique stores, top-rated restaurants, vineyards and coffee shops.This cottage was built in the 1900s and has fooled architects as it was built in accordance with an original Cape labourer's cottage, even the windows and doors are handmade to give authenticity.
The cottage can accommodate up to 2 guests and comprises a loft-style bedroom, a bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The loft-style bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a basin and a toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery. The lounge has comfy seating and a flat-screen TV with selected DStv channels as well as a fireplace. Free Wi-Fi access is also provided. The cottage has an outside braai area.
The living area opens up onto a lovely verandah area which has a sitting bench. The cottage is set in a picturesque English garden with lovely views to the Klein River Mountains across the village green. It shares the 1400 square-meter garden with its larger sister, Dove Cottage, but they are each screened to provide maximum privacy.
