Buff and Fellow Eco Cabins offer guests self-catering accommodation nestled on a beautiful buffalo breeding farm located 18 km from George and 10 km from the George Airport.
Guests have a choice of booking the eco-friendly cabins, the eco-friendly pods, the eco-friendly coconut villas, the Eco Cabana, and By the Bay which can each accommodate between 2 to 8 people.
The eco-friendly cabins are ideal for friends or family and comprise 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each, and on request, the beds can be converted to king-size beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, as well as an outdoor shower. The cabins each have a fully equipped kitchen and a private lounge with a fireplace.
Overlooking the river, the eco-friendly pods are ideal for 2 guests and contain king-size beds that can be converted into twin beds on request, and an en-suite bathroom with a large bath, as well as an outdoor shower. Each pod has a kitchen that is fully equipped, as well as a lounge area, and opens onto a private patio with a built-in braai area, and a wood-fired hot tub.
The multi-storey, uniquely designed eco-friendly coconut villas, can accommodate 2 or 6 people. Each of the villas is furnished with king-size beds and has en-suite bathrooms with baths. Each of the villas has a private kitchen that is fully equipped for self-catering, a cosy lounge with a fireplace that opens onto a patio with braai facilities, and a wood-fired hot tub.
Eco Cabana 8 comprises 2 rooms with king-size beds and 1 room with a king-size bed and bunk bed. There are 2 full bathrooms with a shower and a bath. There is a large open-plan kitchen, living area, and dining area. The kitchen features a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The unit has a Boma area and a large porch with a wood-fired hot tub. There is a beautiful view of the farm dam and the Outeniqua mountains. The unit is fully solar-powered.
Buff and Fellow by the Bay is the perfect spot to unwind on the banks of the Great Brak River and a walk away from Suiderkruis Beach. It's a place to retreat, reset and revive yourself.
The unit sleeps 8 guests in a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms with a separate bathroom upstairs. The first and second bedrooms have a queen-size bed and the third has 4 single beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The unit has a laundry with a washer and dryer. There is an open plan living and dining area with an indoor fireplace and braai. There is a games room and bar area with a wood-fired Jacuzzi and a pizza oven Canoes, boogie boards, and beach essentials are provided. The property is close to shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions.
The farm is home to a small variety of wild animals which can often be seen grazing around the dam. Activities to enjoy on the farm include wine tasting with the owners, birdwatching, cycling, a tour of the buffalo, unwinding around the bonfire, and fishing.
