Description

Located just across the Namibian border, Bundi Orange River Base Camp offers cosy overnight accommodation situated on the banks of the mighty Orange River, 8 km from Noordoewer.

This camp offers guests a choice of either 4 campsites or 10 chalets that can each accommodate 2 guests at a time. Each chalet contains 2 single beds and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Each chalet is air-conditioned and includes a bar fridge. All linen and bath towels are provided.

Each campsite can accommodate 8 guests at a time. Only sites 1, 2 and 3 have power points and guests are required to bring their own extension cords for power supply. Guests have full access to communal ablution facilities which are fitted with showers. Additionally, there is a bush kitchen where guests can prepare their meals. Please note that this kitchen serves as a preparation area with braai and washing up facilities as well as a fridge and kettle. Guests are required to bring their own cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery.

The main lodge offers an expansive wooden deck which perfectly overlooks the Orange River and is an ideal spot for a sundowner in the evening. Additionally, there is a communal lapa with plenty of seating and shared braai facilities.

There is also a bar on the property as well as boats for rent for when guests want to explore the river. All meals are available at an additional cost and by prior arrangements.
