Description
Calluna Cottage is a private cottage on the border of Rondebosch and Newland and is tucked away in a corner of a leafy, safe lane. The original Cape cottage is a mix of historic and contemporary finishes and offers a beautiful view of Duiwelspiek from the covered porch and private garden.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a shower and an open-plan living and dining area with a wooden stove. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The open-plan living area offers access to the covered patio through stacking doors. Here guests will find outdoor furniture and portable braai facilities. The veranda is the ideal place to entertain and relax in the summer and offers a beautiful view of the private garden and mountains.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, fridge, oven and hob. The cottage has fibre internet and a smart TV with Netflix. A camping cabin can be provided for guests travelling with an infant. The garage provides direct access to the cottage and there is extra secure parking available right outside the cottage.
The cottage is close to various attractions, medical facilities, famous wine farms and the University of Cape Town, as well as the M3 and M5 leading to the V&A Waterfront, beaches in the southern suburbs and Cape Town International Airport.
