'n Goeie blyplek indien mens toegang tot die middestad nodig het!

A good place to stay if you need access to the city center!
The room was very nice clean and tidy and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is directly opposite the Eastern Food Bazaar and is right next to two of the best restaurants in Cape Town. I would recommend the hotel anytime!

Not good.
On arrival there was no one in reception to open the door. We waited more than an hour because our room had not been cleaned yet. We were moved to another room with a veranda to make up for a room that was not clean. The smell in the room was unbearable. The house bowl made a terrible noise. We decided not to spend 2nd night there and checked out earlier. The bar and restaurant were also not open even though they were advertised. There is no secure parking, otherwise there is an option for extra costs to park in a car park opposite the hotel.

More expected as advertised.
Service was friendly and helpful. Had very little sleep though as the house bowl was 5 steps from our room and every time it was used it made a terrible shrill, loud screech and came to a screeching halt. Furthermore, we also couldn't get our patio door locked, so it was quite uncomfortable to leave the room alone or go to sleep. The advertisement on the website is also very different from what is listed on Google and what is true in reality. There is no satellite TV (only SABC 1, 2, 3 and eTV), there is certainly no 24 hour security or parking - we had to park in the street and that too was very limited as most of the streets are one way streets and drop-off zones are paid, and all the security there is is a "dodgy" round-the-clock car guard. There was no soap of any kind in our room nor was there anything mentioned or offered in the direction of breakfast as mentioned on Google. Further differences are check-in time, the availability of a safe and bathtub in each room, the parking etc.
