Caravan Cove is perched on the shores of the Indian Ocean in Rocky Bay, 6.3 km south from the holiday town of Scottburgh. Caravan Cove Resort is a holiday destination for the whole family, with beautiful plants, large shady trees, a variety of bird life and a secure and pleasant environment.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in a self-catering chalet accommodating 2 guests. The open-plan chalet comprises a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a small kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a 2-plate stove, a kettle and toaster, pots and pans, and cutlery and crockery. The chalet is also equipped with a table and chairs.

The resort offers laundry facilities, tarred roads, a sheltered fresh-water swimming pool, a smaller pool for the kiddies, a play park, and a recreational hall. The beach can be reached by crossing a single railway line. Bathers are protected by shark nets and life guards in season, and there are many rock pools for the children. Activities in the area include golf, tennis, bowls or squash, and there are restaurants and shopping centres in the surrounding area.
