Description
Casa Balena is a beautiful Tuscan-designed seafront holiday house with uninterrupted sea views, situated between Gansbaai and De Kelders in the Overberg region.
This property can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, all with sea views. The main oceanfront bedroom contains a queen-size bed as well as an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. The second and third bedrooms both have double beds and access to the separate bathroom fitted with a bath. The fourth bedroom, also oceanfront, is furnished with 2 single beds which can be converted to a king-size bed on request, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. All beds are fitted with crisp cotton linen and towels are also supplied.
On the upper level, the kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a coffee machine. A washing machine, tumble-dryer and dishwasher are available in the separate scullery. The spacious living area includes an 8-seater dining table, comfortable seating and a flat-screen Smart TV with Netflix access. Access to free Wi-Fi is available. The living area is also fitted with an indoor braai area and a gas fireplace.
Downstairs, there is a games room with a dartboard, table tennis and pool table combo as well as another TV with Netflix. On the spacious deck, there are braai facilities as well as an outdoor dining table and furniture. The patio offers guests a stunning sea view and whale watching opportunities from July to November each year.
Guests are afforded secure parking in a double lock-up garage. The house is within walking distance from Stanford’s Cove, Gansbaai tidal pool and Gansbaai Harbour. Nature lovers can walk all parts of the 50 km of unspoiled Gansbaai shoreline ideal for swimming, hiking, surfing and angling.
