Very nicely decorated cottage, especially the common / shared living / breakfast room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

We had a pleasant stay at this nice location. We enjoyed the small pool for a refreshing dip. Nice dining at the Drakensberg Sun hotel in walking distance. We had left a toiletry bag in our bathroom at departure. Staff made an effort to get it back to us, which worked out well, thanks.

We really enjoyed our staying at the Cathkin Cottage B&B. Leila the owner/hostess is charming, friendly and really made us feel welcome. The breakfasts were well presented, creative and really delicious. Esther and Lindiwe helped serve and they were very attentive to our needs. We loved sitting around the pool in the beautiful garden and we liked the peace and tranquility. It was great to meet Elliot the resident dog and he certainly added to the general ambience of the establishment. This is a gem! We will certainly return there in the future.
