Peaceful, clean, well appointed.

What a little gem! A lovely, well-appointed, comfortable cottage with all the basics you need. The view from the balcony is food for the soul, and the walk down to the river is a must! It's just a pity we could only stay for one night. It would make a great base to explore the surrounding beautiful KZN Midlands Meander. There was also abundant bird life - great for birdwatchers!

Best getaway place ever.

Besides the rain, we got to spend time next to the fireplace and we went for lunch at the restaurant next door. An all-in-one place.

A trip down memory lane.

It was quiet and the view was magical, looking up into the mountains. I loved the sound of the river running by. The furniture was old school farm and country style which I enjoyed. This is where I would love to retire one day.

Calm atmosphere. Beautiful green lawn.
