Claudia’s Haven is a comfortably furnished self-catering house set on a double-stand in the upper part of the village of Waterval Boven, attracting plenty of natural sunlight to go with stunning north and west-facing views from its newly built large deck over its well-kept garden. The house is ideally situated for outdoor enthusiasts notably climbers, hikers and mountain bike enthusiasts wanting to explore the beautiful surroundings of Waterval Boven in Mpumalanga, or for travellers wishing to spend a few days in the calm of the village surroundings and its clean air. It is just 2.5 hour’s drive from Johannesburg and an hour’s drive to Nelspruit leading to the Kruger Park area.

The original Oregon floors throughout the house and high wooden roof ceilings give it a fabulous atmosphere. The house can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 sunny bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. Each bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.

The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a fridge, 2-plate mini-stove and oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, and a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge contains 2 couches and a Smart TV. Wi-Fi internet access is available. The living area opens to a stunning large deck with a kettle braai and great sunset views. The garden is enclosed and pets are welcome by arrangement.

Waterval Boven is best known as an ideal climbing and mountain bike destination, as well as offering several hiking trails. The Stone Circle museum, Adam’s calendar, and the Paul Kruger museum at Waterval Onder are interesting historic attractions.
