Colnera is situated 3 km from the very popular town of Herolds Bay. The area is known for great coastal walks and for spotting dolphins and whales. It offers easy access to the R404, 3 km from Herolds Bay and 7 km from George Airport. A perfect holiday destination for the whole family.

Colnera offers 5 one-bedroom self-catering chalets. Two of the chalets, Swarthout and Geelhout, are slightly bigger than the others and have a sleeper couch in the living room for 2 kids under 16. All the bedrooms feature double beds, with linen and towels being provided. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. Other facilities include an open-plan kitchenette equipped with a small fridge, kettle, microwave, single induction stove plate, crockery and cutlery. Each chalet has its own braai facilities. There is no television - people come here to enjoy nature.

Establishment facilities include a wedding and function venue. The venue's lawn is accessible to guests for picnics and enjoying family time. Guests can also enjoy mountain biking, hiking, picnicking and bird watching on the property. It also has a large scenic dam where guest can do bass-fishing, rowing and swimming. The property is game-fenced. An electronic gate and high fence make the farm very safe and secure. The chalets are about 300 meters from the gate, accessible with a cement road.
