Description

Cottage Jean Martin is a spacious self-catering holiday cottage for up to 6 people in Betty’s Bay with views of the Grootvlei lake and mountains.

The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining area, a lounge and a cosy indoor braai area. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a bath, a toilet, and double vanity. The second and third bedrooms each contain 2 single beds, and the third bedroom is accessed from the second bedroom, making it ideal for children. The 2 rooms share the use of a bathroom with a bath, a shower, a toilet, and double vanity. For guests convenience, linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, a microwave, as well as a fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A washing machine and a tumble-dryer are available for use and is located in a Wendy house behind the cottage.

Guests can relax in the lounge which has cosy seating a TV, and a wood-burning fireplace. The braai room has a large indoor braai area, and meals can be enjoyed at the 6-seater dining table. Wi-Fi is available.

A portable braai is available for use in the garden, and guests will have the opportunity to view free-roaming buck, guinea fowl as well as a variety of other bird species, and due to the proximity of the lake, baboons do not venture as far as the house.
